Paul Auster - Bibliographical resources
Although a significant number of essays, articles, dissertations and books have been written on Paul Auster's work, most of them focus on the earlier period of his writing career, up to the mid-1990s. The inscription of Moon Palace on the CAPESand Agrégation in 1995 saw a number of publications on that specific novel by French scholars. Very little academic papers exist on The Brooklyn Follies (it features peripherally in C. Quarré-Roger's book). Annick Duperray's 2003 book is an excellent concise introduction to Auster's work, though it is restricted to a few texts only. The collection of articles she edited for Actes Sud in 1995 remains an essential reference too.
