Oscar Pistorius to be released on parole in January - nearly 11 years after murdering girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp

Former Paralympic champion Oscar Pistorius will be released from prison in January, nearly 11 years after murdering his girlfriend.

Pistorius shot Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine's Day 2013 at his home in Pretoria, South Africa.

June Steenkamp: Pistorius has 'not been rehabilitated'

The mother of Reeva Steenkamp, who was murdered by Oscar Pistorius a decade ago, said the South African Paralympic champion has "not been rehabilitated".
