Biden Hints He's Leaving The Door Open To A 2020 Run

Vice President Joe Biden teased Monday that he is leaving the door open to another presidential run in 2020.
"I'm going to run in 2020," Biden told a group of reporters on Capitol Hill.
"For what?" one of the reporters asked.
"For president," Biden responded, adding later, "What the hell man."

It’s more than a month before Donald Trump even enters the White House, but Joe Biden says he’s running for president in 2020.
Maybe.
“I’m going to run in 2020. For president. So, uh, what the hell, man,” the departing vice president told reporters Monday with only a slight smile on his face. Given a chance to walk it back, he did - but only a bit.
Asked if he was joking, he said: “I’m not committing not to run. I’m not committing to anything. I learned a long time ago, fate has a strange way of intervening.”

Vice President Joe Biden teased a presidential run in 2020, telling reporters that while he is not committing to it, “fate has a strange way of intervening.”
His comments came after he returned to the Senate on Monday to preside over a procedural vote on a medical research bill named in part for his son Beau Biden, who died of a brain tumor in 2015.
Afterward, he told reporters, “I’m going to run in 2020.”

Vice President Joe Biden made an emotional return to the U.S. Senate on Monday when it voted to rename part of a major piece of legislation for his late son, Beau.
As president of the Senate, Biden presided over the vote on the 21st Century Cures Act, a massive bill that will increase funding for health research. A portion of the bill allocates $1.8 billion toward Biden’s “cancer moonshot” initiative, which he made a priority after Beau died of brain cancer last year.
As a gesture to Biden, their former Senate colleague, Senate leaders dedicated the provision to Beau
