Holiday travel heavy, but not landmark

"Chicagoans, their friends and family members took to the sky in relatively calm travel conditions Sunday, expected to be among the busiest flying days of the season. "One of those maneuvering through the Thanksgiving cattle call at O'Hare International Airport on Sunday was Derrick Pawlak, flying to Washington for work. ""Actually, it's a little bit quieter than I had anticipated," said Pawlak, 31, who showed up almost two hours early for his 1 p.m. flight. "Historically, you always watch the news and you hear it's going to be a wreck.""
