The film, starring British-Australian actress Naomi Watts, claims to shed light on Diana’s two-year romance with heart surgeon Hasnat Khan and also her relationship with Dodi Fayed.The movie had been kept under wraps until last night by its makers Ecosse Films, bar one exclusive private showing for the film’s producers and international buyers at Cannes.
Fans can expect to see relatively little of the princes, played by actors Laurence Belcher (William) and Harry Holland (Harry).
The pair are shown briefly when Diana hugs them, ushers them on to a helicopter bound for Balmoral and says that she will see them in five weeks.
