The expected short, sharp onslaught is in punishment for a chemical gas attack in Damascus, which is said to have killed 1,300 people.Downing Street confirmed the military is drawing up plans for action, while the US is “ready to go” if President Barack Obama orders a strike.
MPs have been recalled to Parliament tomorrow to discuss any military intervention following the atrocity.
David Cameron said they would then vote on a “clear motion” about the UK’s response.
