Lorie-Anne Rainville is an Associate Professor in the English Department at the University of Caen-Normandie. She is the author of a book on James Joyce: James Joyce: Dubliners & A Portrait of the Artist (Ophrys, 2005). She has written articles on Joyce but also on contemporary Canadian writers: Margaret Atwood, Jane Urquhart, and Joseph Boyden. Her current work focuses on Canadian writing and First Nations.
